Hoffenheim hit back to extend unbeaten run

Hoffenheim extended their unbeaten start to the season to 12 games and Borussia Monchengladbach's wait for a league win to seven matches with 1-1 draw at the Borussia Park Stadion.

Although Gladbach are currently in a poor run of form, they continue to look confident on the ball and it was no surprise when they took the lead through Mahmoud Dahoud in the 25th minute.

He scored his first goal of the season from Christoph Kramer's pass to give Gladbach a deserved lead, which Lars Stindl should have added to early in the second half, but he failed to beat Oliver Baumann when one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Instead, a few minutes later Nadiem Amiri brought Hoffenheim level to earn Julian Nagelsmann's men a point.
