ISTANBUL, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- The Third Conference of E-Dawah Association concluded Saturday in Istanbul, after touching on many dawah issues among world leading religious figures.
The two-day conference touched on the utilization of technology in Dawah; Dawah is the act of inviting non-Muslims to Islam.
More than 90 Islamic institutes, including the Kuwaiti Al-Najat Charitable Society, and more than 130 visitors were seen at the event.
Advisor at Al-Najat society told KUNA that Kuwait e-dawah committee has been an active member of the E-Dawah Association since its inception in Istanbul, Turkey.
The conference provided a platform to share experiences in the use of social networks to delivering causes related to charity and humanity, he added.
He pointed out that the E-Dawah Association is a non-profit organization, which has chosen Switzerland as its headquarters.
It is comprised of leading experts in the field of e-dawah where they draw up strategies and plans to achieve the goal of their organization in familiarizing and inviting non-Muslims to Islam. (end) ta.nfm
