The drop zone layers in each slide of Parallax Shift are offset in Z space so that it creates a parallax effect no matter which slide it animates from. First, choose an animation from the drop-down menu. Select from a list that includes Left, Right, Up, Down, Up & Left, Down & Right, etc. Then watch as Parallax Shift gracefully brings media into frame.
Parallax Shift’s text box is fully customizable and can be placed anywhere in the scene. Take advantage of the on-screen controls in FCPX which allow users to reposition the text box anywhere in the scene. Adjust the size of the text box’s length width and height by manipulating the edge points surrounding the text box. Finally, change the color and opacity of the text box for additional stylization.
Two lower thirds and an opener are included in this package. The lower third is available in both left and right orientated presets. Lower thirds can be placed anywhere and stretched in the timeline to alter the duration they are on screen. The opener can also be edited this way and is great for introducing the beginning of a production or a new section.
Parallax Shift is the complete package for slideshow production. In addition to the slideshow and title tools, users also get 3 beautiful overlays and a self-animating backdrop. The included overlays are a vignette, a flare with dust particles, and a shape overlay. Utilize each overlay and the backdrop to stylize scenes to the fullest inside Final Cut Pro X.
