CONFIRMED! Neil Nitin Mukesh-Rukmini Sahay to get hitched in February 2017

Neil Nitin Mukesh got engaged to Rukmini Sahay on the occasion of Dussehra this year.

‘Wazir’ hunk Neil Nitin Mukesh is the grandson of legendary singer Mukesh. On this Dusshera, the actor surprised everyone with his engagement news. Neil got engaged to Rukmini Sahay on the auspicious occasion and the ceremony pictures went viral on social media platform. Since then everyone has been anxiously waiting to know when would be the big day and finally Neil has revealed some interesting details to a leading daily.

After all the break-up and divorce news that has been going on in Bollywood since the beginning of this year, it feels damn good that some are even taking their relationship to next level. It was known that Neil is planning to settle down by next year but when exactly it was not clear. About that the 34-year-old actor told BT, “We are planning to get married sometime in February.” Now the actor has also revealed what kind of a wedding he would want and you’ll be surprised to know what he said.

The report further quoted the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actor saying, “If you ask me, I would ideally like to have an intimate wedding at a temple, with just close friends and family. But of course, I have to obey our families’ wishes. So, there will be an elaborate ceremony.” Looks like celebs are planning to change the concept of lavish wedding. Yesterday there were reports that even cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Hazel Keech want a simple wedding and are not interested in wasting any unwanted money. Neil’s father who is also Bollywood’s playback singer Nitin Mukesh had said in a statement, “Neil is quite old school in his ways and is a firm believer in the traditional school of thought when it comes to the sacred institution of marriage. He left the decision of finding his soulmate in his parents’ trusted hands and there couldn’t have been a better match for him than Rukmini.” He even added that Neil’s fiancee has already won hearts of the Mukesh khandaan. About Rukmini he said, “She reflects the values and traditions that Neil has been raised with and compliments him in every way possible. The celebrations to the final countdown have already begun.”

On the professional front, Neil Nitin Mukesh is gearing for Madhur Bhandarkar’s next titled ‘Indu Sarkar’. He will play the role of Sanjay Gandhi. He has also been roped in for the magnum opus ‘Bahubali – The Conclusion’ along with Prabhas. He will once again don a negative avatar in the film.
