An epic play at a heritage site

On the occasion of World Heritage Week, Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation’s much loved historical play, Quli: Dilon ka Shahzaada was staged at Golconda Fort this Wednesday. The play, which featured the legendary love story of the poet-prince Quli Qutb Shah and his beloved, Bhagmati, was well attended by an audience from different walks of life. There was a buzz of excitement as former Indian cricket captain, Mohammad Azharuddin walked in to watch the play.Fans flocked up to him for selfies, and Azhar happily obliged.
