Strong winds blew away some tents and portal cabins of beach-goers on Sealine Beach on Friday.
Families who converged on the Sealine Beach for enjoying the winter season returned to their homes in Doha after their tents were damaged. Camps closer to the beach were submerged in sea water. Photos of damaged tents, caravans and umbrellas went viral on social media platforms. The Ministry of Interior on its Twitter page advised the sea-goers to be cautious.
