Tears: See O'Shea Jackson Jr.'s Heartfelt Tribute to Kanye West

The Straight Outta Compton star shows his support for Yeezy.

O'Shea Jackson Jr., known for his role portraying his father in Straight Outta Compton, woke up inspired this morning to create a tribute to Kanye West, in the wake of him being hospitalized.

Recognizing that it is heartbreaking to see one of his idols going through a tough time, the actor wanted to instead channel Ye's creative energy, doodling an image on his iPad of the rapper inspired by his 2007 Graduation album cover and penning a positive message.

"I woke up this morning with Kanye on my mind," Jackson Jr. began a lengthy Instagram caption. "Usually that's the start of a dope day. But I felt like I should say something to him."

He then goes on to explain that his tribute drawing does not mean "I miss the Old Kanye," but instead using the opportunity to vocalize his respect and adoration for artists who break the mold, much like West does.

"We ask artists to grow by doing the same thing over and over? Nah." he elaborated. "We love artists that break the mold. That change the game. Whether its production or style, Ye has always gone against the grain. But that s**t is what makes the cool Cool. It's what makes dope , DOPE. But the world, just like all of us, isn't always ready for change."

The actor then goes into detail during his musing, further exemplifying that he wise beyond his years and showing that he understands West simply has plans, ideas and concepts that the "masses just aren't ready for."

He then adds a message to West on behalf of his "real fans," saying "We need to be shown the world outside of the box. We need GOOD music. Shiiiiet ....We need Ye to be Ye! So from us real fans, WAKE UP MR. WEST!!!!

We can't help but cheer on the actor for his touching words. Thank you for this, O'Shea.
