NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans' good fortune with injuries continues, as left tackle Taylor Lewan will start Sunday in Chicago a week after he feared he had torn his ACL.

In the fourth quarter of the Titans’ loss to the Colts in Indianapolis, running back DeMarco Murray blocked cornerback Vontae Davis into Lewan’s lower leg, forcing Lewan to leave the game.

“I’ll be 100 percent by the time we get to the game. It doesn’t hurt at all, it feels great,” Lewan said. “I thought it was a six-to-niner, months. We thought it was way worse than it ended up being. I definitely dodged a huge bullet. It’s not going to stop me from playing fast.”

Tight end Phillip Supernaw is in the concussion protocol and will not play, which should mean Jace Amaro is active for just the third time this season. But head coach Mike Mularkey stopped short of saying Amaro would play.

“There are other options we’re looking at; we’re looking at all of them,” he said. “That’s one of them.”

The Titans play a great deal of two- and three-tight end packages, so having only Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano available would mean a real change in course for the Bears game.

Safety Daimion Stafford had a hamstring issue crop up. He was limited Friday and is questionable. He’ll be looked at during pregame and assessed.
