The second edition of the Kampala Fashion Show took place on Thursday at Cayene Bar and Lounge in Bukoto.

The event was geared towards bridging the poverty gap in Uganda by providing a common platform where designers and other fashion players can meet and interact.

Of the ten fashion brands that show cased, most were debutants, especially in the media's eye. And it showed in their craft, as many had shoddy finishing jobs on their outfits.

It was, however, an interesting fashion night. Most of the designers were celebrating life's events with their collections.

They dubbed the presentation; ‘we are with you in all your life's experiences.' They showcased everything, from the nightwear, daywear; casual, office, kids, evening to ceremonial wear like wedding dresses, Gomesi and mens' suits.

L-Next, Eye on Fashion, House of ADE, BDT Fashions, JR Fashion House, Jiber, Kushona, Y-not Fashion, and TEM Fashion Wear were the designers of the night.
