Governor ESL Narasimhan today said the State government has to provide generous donations to National Foundation Fund to help kin of victims of communal riots in the country.
The Governor made this remarks when Hyderabad in-charge Collector Prashanthi met him at Raj Bhavan and handed over a flag to mark the “Flag Day” that is celebrated as the culmination of goodwill publicity and collection of donations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said the unity in diversity is prevailing in India and is flourished with different religious, castes, cultures and traditions. “Unfortunately, if communal riots occur, we have to extend a helping hand to the families and more importantly to the children of those get victimized”, he added.
