KTR opens “Love Hyderabad” statue at Tank Bund

Minister for MA&UD Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao today inaugurated “LOVE HYDERABAD” sculpture at Tank Bund.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the sculpture will be an added attraction to the City and the Tourists, whoever visit the Tank Bund will have a selfie at this spot and it will be a great landmark at the Tank Bund  in the coming days.

The Street Art Festival which has been started from November 1 to 24 where many prominent artists from various parts of the country and as well as abroad participated in the wall paintings painted at the walls at various locations of Makta opposite People’s Plaza and brought beautiful surroundings at the Necklace road. The Government was trying to develop more beautification at the Tank Bund to attract tourists in the near future. Earlier the minister along with Mayor, Deputy Mayor visited various locations on the Necklace Road and viewed the paintings at Makta areas opposite People’s Plaza.

Mayor Bonthu Rammohan said thousands of Artists have come from various parts of the Country and painted their paintings at the boundary walls of the Necklace Road with which the City is having a very great artistic look and the GHMC is trying its level best to make the City to that of an International view in the near future and thanked the organizations and the Street Art Festival foundation for taking up such innovative event at the Tank bund today.

Deputy Mayor  Baba Fasiuddin appreciated the artists participated in the month-long Street Art Festival for their effective involvement in making the city to a beautiful tourists spot. Advisor to the Government B.V. Papa Rao said Krishna Keerthi Foundation, Street Art Foundation and other organizations have coordinated with the GHMC in making this festival a grand success and this type of festivals will be taken up every year in November to beautify the city as the festival is closing marking installation of this type sculpture at Tank Bund “Love Hyderabad” has taken up basically to improve the public aesthetic of the city.

 Chiranjeevulu, Commissioner, HMDA, Jeethender, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and senior officials from various Government heads of the departments have participated in the program. (NSS)
