This is usually the season of weddings and some start with the preparation months before. Due to demonetisation many families and the soon-to-be brides and grooms are suffering in many ways and one of the TV actor who has suffered big time is Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi fame Shakti Arora. The TV star who was all set to tie the knot this year with his long time girlfriend Neha Saxena had to postpone the wedding due to demonetisation.

Lovebirds Shakti Arora and Neha Saxena were supposed to get hitched on November 15 but thanks to the new decision, all their plans have gone for a toss. Like others even he faced difficulties to arrange cash for the biggest event of his life and at the end he was left with no other option but actually postpone the original date. That is such a sad thing that could happen to anybody who was longing for this day and now he does not even know when the next date is going to be. Shakti Arora said, “I had withdrawn cash to pay to the wedding organisers, caterers and other staff as I had to give them an advance. However, they are refusing to take the old currency now. It will take me a long time to exchange the old notes with the new ones. I have no idea when we will get married now. It’s definitely not happening this year,” reports TOI. When the entire nation is struggling standing in long queues outside ATM centres, Shakti and Neha are dealing with some major issues. We just hope the best for Shakti Arora and Neha Saxena!
