Family bids farewell to father in cremation mix-up

GEORGE TOWN: The grieving family members of a man whose remains were mistakenly claimed and cremated by another family have performed the funeral rites as scheduled although they have yet to receive the DNA test results of the ashes.

More than 100 family members and friends sent Fong Meng Tuck off on his last journey at the open space of a high-rise building in Gat Lebuh Macallum at 2pm Friday.
