Dileep-Kavya Madhavan to tie the knot today! Meera Jasmine, Mammootty, Mohanlal to attend

Dileep and Kavya Madhavan will finally tie the knot and get into holy matrimony today at Kochi.

The D-Day has arrived. Malayalam film industry’s much loved onscreen couple Kavya Madhavan and Dileep will finally tie the knot and get into holy matrimony today (November 25, 2017) at Kochi.

While the ceremony is expected to be a low-key affair, their close relatives and friends from the industry like Meera Jasmine, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Chippi and Jomol and yesteryear actress Menaka amongst others are expected to grace the occasion.

The personal lives of the couple have been surrounded in rumours since quite some time now and though Dileep had opened up about remarriage, he had kept us guessing about who the bride would be. He had said that he hasn’t given a thought to marrying Kavya and that his decision to get into matrimony again would depend on his daughter Meenakshi. (ALSO READ: OMG! The 47-year-old Malayalam superstar Dileep had married Manju Warrier in 1998, they filed for a divorce in the year 2014 which was granted in 2015. They both have a daughter Meenakshi Dileep. Kavya Madhavan married actor Nishal Chandra in the year 2009, but soon got divorced in 2011. While Kavya was touted as the reason why Dileep decided to separate from his wife, the actor had rubbished the rumours.

The Mollywood pair Dileep and Kavya Madhavan met each other first time on the sets of Darling Darling in 2000. The movie was an instant hit and their onscreen chemistry had set the Malayalam box office on fire. They have starred in nearly 20 movies post that and are considered as Malayalam cinema’s ‘superhit jodi’. The two superstars were recently seen in celebrated filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s film titled Pinneyum which released on 18 August 2016.

Earlier today, Dileep sought the blessings and support from his fans. “Need everyone’s support. Marriage is not a secret affair and I believe the ceremony needs the support and blessings of all.
