Telangana power centre shifts to Pragathi Bhavan

For decades, the sprawling Se cretariat complex here in the city was the seat of government power. But on Thursday, there was a finality that marked the end of its days as the power center as chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao moved into his new official residence-cumoffice complex at Greenlands. On Thursday, the political leadership of Telangana shifted to Pragathi Bhavan, the new building complex from where the CM is set to function.
The 6th floor of C Block in the Secretariat is not expected to see KCR anymore.His chambers there are to be allocated to a senior official.
