Which celebrities are getting sappy, funny or stuffed this Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving brings out a lot of emotion in everyone, and celebrities are no exception.

From humor to food to sentimental thoughts, stars expressed themselves on social media Thursday.

Mindy Kaling fit into the sentimental category with her tweet about "thinking about the niceness you have in life."

But other comedians, such as Conan O'Brien, Ellen DeGeneres and Ricky Gervais, stayed on the funny track.

Some stars, including Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Nettles and Viola Davis, were focused on food and/or meal preparation.

And others, such as Dwayne Johnson, were looking ahead to Christmas.

But then, there was Laura Benanti, whose tweet about her mother's comments illustrates why we all love family, especially on a day like Thanksgiving.
