Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s upcoming nuptials have had a lot of people curious, and now we have learnt that Farah Khan is choreographing for the couple’s sangeet ceremony, which will be held in Delhi in December.
Earlier this month, Yuvraj had made a guest appearance on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, where Farah is one of the judges. During the episode, Yuvi danced to Mahi Ve, a song Farah had choreographed in Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Impressed, the choreographer had announced, “Main kasam khaati hoon ki Yuvraj ka sangeet main choreograph karungi.” But while many thought it was a remark made in jest, Farah says she was dead serious. Speaking to us during her recent visit to Delhi, Farah said, “I am meeting Yuvraj to discuss the sangeet ceremony’s choreography. He is a very old and dear friend, so it’s not a professional engagement for me. He calls me his sister, so it’s more like a gift.”

Without divulging too many details about what she has planned, Farah says, “Whatever I plan will be in accordance with the wedding’s theme.” Sources say that the choreography will borrow elements from the lives of the couple, combining Bollywood and cricket. However, even though Farah will choreograph the routines, she will not personally supervise the rehearsals. She tells us, “The functions are in Delhi, so it won’t be possible for me to be here. But I will send my assistants who will stay with them in Chandigarh and Delhi. Of course, nobody is as tough as me, so I’m sure they will go a little easy on the couple. I’m sure Yuvi and Hazel will like that!”

Hazel is a trained dancer who is well-versed in both Indian classical and western contemporary forms. So will Yuvraj be able to match steps with her? Farah says she has no doubts about the cricketer’s dancing abilities. “Oh, Yuvi is a wonderful dancer! He is all natural. It will be fun,” she tells us. Farah recently also choreographed the sangeet of Sania Mirza’s sister Anam, which had Salman Khan dancing to his hit Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai.
