Sandhya Mridul is quite selective about the kind of roles she chooses. Be it films or television, Sandhya has no qualms about not jumping at every project that comes her way. Hence we get to see her picking rare yet performance-oriented characters. The 41-year-old actor was in the national capital to promote her latest television show P.O.W. Out of the several things that she spoke during an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com, what struck us was her immensely strong reaction against controversial reality show Bigg Boss. Sandhya agreed that she is offered the show every year but was vehement that she will never appear on it.
“There is no chance I’ll participate in Bigg Boss. I’m saying this again and again. There is no chance. It makes me upset. I’ll tell you why. Not because I look down upon anything. The facts is, I’m an actor. I did not come here to be locked in a house, abusing people. I do not care for things like Bigg Boss. I want them to stop calling me for it. I don’t want to be a part of Bigg Boss. I only came to act. I only want to act. I’ve been offered Bigg Boss quite a few times but with all due respect to those who do it, I am not our candidate. I’m so choosy about picking up acting roles, how will I do Bigg Boss?” Sandhya said.

The current season of Bigg Boss 10 has been running over a month now. But seeing the deadpan contestants and petty controversies inside the house, looks like this season might just be one of the dullest and boring ones. Wonder what host Salman Khan has to say about it.
