Popular city-based model Arthi Venkatesh is making her acting debut with upcoming Malayalam-Tamil drama Solo and is thrilled to be featured alongside actor Dulquer Salmaan in the film.
“I’m a huge fan of Dulquer’s work and I’m thrilled to be making my cinematic debut opposite him. We have completed the first schedule in Kerala and the experience so far has been adventurous,” said Venkatesh.
The film is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar, andbut this is not the first the Shaitan director has approached Venkatesh.
“A few months ago, Bejoy signed me on for one of his projects and got me to get trained in acting. Unfortunately, the project never took off and when he approached me again for Solo, I accepted the offer immediately,” she said.
The film will feature four other actresses, and Nambiar is currently in the process of finalising the rest.
Apart from Kerala, Solo will also be shot in Tamil Nadu, Mumbai and Ladakh.
