Rs 9.5 lakh seized in Dahod, two detained

VADODARA: The Dahod district police seized cash amounting to Rs 9.5lakh at Minakyar in the Garbada taluka of Dahod district.
The seizure was made when the police was keeping a vigil on the Minikyar check post bordering Madhya Pradesh. The police spotted a car registered in Maharashtra arrive at the check post and stopped it for checking. The personnel found 325 Rs 2,000 denomination notes and 300 Rs 100 denomination currency notes in the car.
Driver of the car Dilip Bagla and Ishwar Patil who were commuting in the car were detained by the police.Sources said that the income tax department would also be informed regarding the seizure.
