Stand-up comedian Danish Sait understands the  power of laughter, and he has been employing his art with the intention of bringing his audience to experience this power. Although he has stuck to his wide popularity through the internet and his comedy shows under the banner of ‘The Improv’, he seems to have gone a step ahead having bagged a full- length movie on the twisted character ‘Nograj’ he created which set the net users clicking him over and over again.

Taking notice of his net popularity were the makers of Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu who are collaborating with Danish and filmmaker Saad Khan for the film titled Humble Politician Nograj.
Coming after the critical and commercial success of Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, Pushkar Films in association with its director Hemanth Rao of Lost & Found Films seem to move away from the gritty emotional drama to tickle some funny bones. Hemanth, the director of Godhi Banna..., is the co-producer of the film. “I had decided to invest whatever money I got from the remake rights of my debut project into an interesting venture and HPN happens to be my first.”

The film will start rolling from January 15, 2017 before they finalise the rest of the star cast. According to the producer, it is going to be a political satire, a different genre with 20 odd artistes.
The film will be directed by Saad Khan who made Bengaluru’s first Hindi feature film Station in 2014. “The story and screenplay written by Danish and Saad, and as a sensational political satire, promises to be a laugh riot packed with entertainment with respect to social issues and how they are addressed around us today,” says producer

Pushkar Mallikarjun
Humble Politician Nograj is positioned as an English-Kannada film and depicts the crooked journey of a manipulative politician Nograj. Pushkar says that Nograj will deal with current political scenarios in authentic locations.
The pre-production work for HPN has begun in full swing and the makers are meeting actors to put together the primary cast which includes Nograj’s wife, his trusted PA and other important characters.
