RAJKOT: A 30-year-old man, identified as
Vijay Makwana, was shot on the 150-foot
Ring Road in Rajkot on Tuesday evening. Makwana was shot in the arm and was rushed to the hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
Police suspect that Makwana was shot allegedly by history-sheeter
Mahesh Gamara or any of his men.
According to police, Makwana, a resident of
Shatrinagar, was shot in the arm when he was going on his scooter.
Some people came in a car and one of them fired one round at Makwana. They all escaped in the car.
In his statement to police, Makwana has alleged that Gamara and his accomplices were involved in the firing.
Makwana who received bullet wound on his arm is being treated at a private hospital in Rajkot.
Police have registered a complaint and launched a probe.
