TPCC wants KCR to sack Jagdish Reddy for corrupt practices

Demanding that the State government immediately dismiss Power Minister G Jagdish Reddy from the Cabinet for his corrupt practices, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Ramarao have been shielding ‘Corrupt Ministers’.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, TPCC leaders Addanki Dayakar, Bellaiah Naik and Sudhakar Goud alleged that Jagdish Reddy was involved in fees reimbursement scam. They said in Suryapet, Jagdish Reddy’s close follower Santhosh has collected over Rs 60 lakh from unemployed youth with the support of the Minister. Finding fault with TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar’s statement that Jagdish Reddy has no links with Santhosh, the Congress leaders said they have irrefutable evidence to prove their charge and displayed photos.

The TRS leaders were deceiving unemployed youth and students in the name of getting them employment, they alleged. They also alleged that irregularities took place in Yadadri Power Plant recruitment. Bellaiah Naik alleged rampant corruption in the TRS government since beginning. The State government failed to take action against those faced allegations after the Nayeem encounter. Reiterating that Jagdish Reddy had collected money in the name of providing employment, he said the  TRS leaders were supporting Jagdish Reddy instead of initiating action against the minister. Sudhakar Goud said TRS leaders have deceived unemployed youth and demanded that the Chief Minister dismiss Jagdish Reddy from the Cabinet. (NSS)
