AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, JP Duminy, Farhaan Behardien and David Miller won’t be the only stars of the show when ten South African players take to the cat walk on Monday 5 December at SuperSport Park to model garments as part of the final act of the Heino Kuhn benefit year. The famous Proteas will be joined on stage by ten Miss South Africa finalists to ensure that the SA cricketers are as skilful on the ramp as they are on the cricket field.

The benefits of the fashion show on Monday 5 December (starting time at 19:00), which promises to be a sell-out and highly popular social event, will be utilised for Child Welfare Tshwane.

“I am ambassador of Child Welfare Tshwane and there are many children – either toddlers or teens – who don’t have the means to get by on their own. After the age of 18, when they want to pursue a job interview, I would like to ensure that they have the clothes and the shoes to do that,” Kuhn said.

“There are 1600 tickets for sale and I hope they will all be purchased,” he added.

The event promises to lure some high-profile companies and their chief executives, which will offer network opportunities to attendants.

There will also be some great fashion items on show as well as band to keep the crowd entertained, Kuhn promised.

The event will also offer supporters of South Africa an opportunity to salute their heroes after a triumphant visit to Australia, where they have already secured a series-win.

Ticket prizes will be R450 for VIPs (including complimentary drinks and a cocktail event), while adults in the grand stand can purchase a ticket for R80 (they can bring their own picnic baskets).

Children sitting in the Grand Stand, will pay R20 for a ticket.

Fans wishing to make a booking, can do it via www.ticketpros.co.za.

Kuhn was the recipient of four prizes during the Multiply Titans’ seasonal awards ceremony in April 2016. He was also crowned the Titans’ player of the year. Kuhn smashed 1126 runs in the Sunfoil Series in the 2015/2016-season and was the first South African players since 2009/2010 to complete the coveted landmark in the four-day competition.
