MasterChef India 5, India's popular cookery show, is receiving an amazing response from viewers. The contestants too are leaving no stone unturned to impress the judges with their culinary skills. While viewers must be wondering as to who among the remaining eight participants will win the coveted trophy, it seems that the winner of MasterChef India 5 is already out.

Rumour has it that Kolkata girl Kirti Bhoutika has emerged as the winner of MasterChef India 5. Apparently, team shot for the finale in Yashraj Studios, Mumbai, recently and Kirti walked out with the trophy of MasterChef India 5 along with a cash prize of Rs 1 crore.

Kirti, who is a student at JD Birla Institute, Kolkata, beat Ashima Arora, Lawyer from London, Dinesh Patel and actor Mirvaan Vinayak, to win the title. "Kirti's knowledge about techniques and recipes made her win the coveted title. Ashima was announced as the runners up while Dinesh and Mirwan stood later," a source told Tellychakkar.com.

Meanwhile, in the latest episode of MasterChef India 5, viewers witnessed Sadaf Hussain being eliminated from show.

The fifth edition of cookery reality show is judged by chefs Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapur and TV personality Zorawar Kalra. Last season, Nikita Gandhi was the winner of Masterchef India 4, which was judged by Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar. The winner of the first season was Pankaj Bhadouria, while Shipra Khanna and Ripudaman Handa were the winners of second and third seasons of MasterChef India, respectively.
