If you thought Kabali was the best blockbuster craze you can get for an Indian movie, wait till 2017. For Rajinikanth is gonna turn up with his new film next year, one that has the potential to break all records at the box office for any Indian language cinema. Dear Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, please be wary of this film called 2.0. For going by the super hype over the first look of the film, we are sure that film will break all opening day records when it releases around Diwali next year. For one, it has Rajinikanth and that is a reason enough. Secondly, it's a spiritual sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran. Thirdly, it's helmed by a man who has a penchant for blockbusters, Shankar. And fourth but not the very least, it has Akshay Kumar, who is supposedly gonna play a villain. In short, please don't release any of your movies for a month around 2.0. Rajinikanth, claimed to be God as many and a living legend by others, is a superstar with millions and trillions of fans, that even spreads to Japan. He is an actor who has not just restricted himself in Tamil cinema, but also in Bollywood, Malayalam cinema, Telugu movies and even a Bengali and Hollywood movie as well. 2.0's biggest hype is said to be the casting of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. But as you know this is not the first time Rajinisir has acted with a Bollywood superstar. Of course many of his recent heroines have been from Bollywood, like Radhika Apte (Kabali), Sonakshi Sinha (Lingaa), Kochadaiiyaan (Deepika Padukone), Endhiran (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), Baba (Manisha Koirala) and others. But he also had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the male actors as well thanks to his occasional foray into Bollywood. Here are 7 male Bollywood superstars of our generation who had the opportunity to act with Thalaivar.

Akshay Kumar

Starting off with the latest, Akshay Kumar, in a surprising movie, decided to foray into South cinema by playing a hideous creature in this upcoming sci fi thriller. While we assume that he is the villain, Rajinikanth keeps on insisting that Akshay is the hero, while he himself is the villain. Whether he is misleading us or whether this is a Terminator Genisys' John Connor kinda twist, we really don't know. 2.0 also has other Bollywood actors in the form of Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, who are a part of a mutual admiration club, have done three Bollywood films together, namely Andha Kanoon, Geraftaar and most popularly, Hum. This Mukul Anand film, also starring Govinda, had the three stars playing brothers. With Amitabh Bachchan's angry man image, Jhumma Chumma song and Rajinikanth and Govinda's admirable support, the film was a blockbuster.

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan had requested Rajinikanth to play a cameo in his superhero film, Ra.One, where he is supposed to reprise his role of Chitti from Endhiran. Rajni sir did agree, and it would have been an event of the century when SRK and Rajni came on screen together for the first time. However instead it turned out to be a needless cameo in a bland movie. Moreover, many even felt that it wasn't even Rajinikanth, thanks to the loads of makeup on his face (Thalaiva had just recuperated from a surgery and was not feeling well, when he filmed for his part). So much for event of the century...

Hrithik Roshan

As you know, Hrithik Roshan, like a few of the star kids, had played a child actor in few of his home productions before he became a bonafide superstar. His most popular role as a child actor was playing Rajinikanth's adopted son in Bhagwaan Dada, that was directed by his maternal grandfather J. Om Prakash. Incidentally, his father Rakesh Roshan also had an important role in the film.

Aamir Khan

Mr Perfectionist and the Living God in a Bollywood film that is inspired by the Hollywood classic The Godfather! On papers, that had the potential to be the biggest blockbuster of all time. Instead, Aatank Hi Aatank turned out to be one of the worst films in both the actors' careers. Oh such a waste of talent and opportunity!

Anil Kapoor

Rajinikanth's last proper role, apart from the cameo in Ra.One, was a special appearance in Bulandi where he played a widower father to three kids, two of whom were played by Anil Kapoor in a double role. It was a forgettable film, however, Rajinikanth's scenes as the Thakur of the village were definitely a highlight.

Sunny Deol

One of the most interesting and entertaining films that Rajinikanth did in Bollywood was Chaalbaaz. Sridevi starred in a double role in this movie, whose dual avatars romanced both Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth.
