Rishi and Tanuja’s love story in Kasam Tere Pyar Ki is taking an interesting turn now. Rano and Malaika are after Tanuja’s life and are leaving no scope to ruin her image in front of Rishi and Raj. They think that Tanuja has tricked Raj to make her replace as Rishi’s bride and get married to him. Rano hates Tanuja and cannot tolerate her presence in Rishi’s life at all. She assumes that Tanuja has taken advantage of Raj’s mental situation to convince him that Malaika is a bad girl and is trying to two-time with Rishi. But Raj had actually witnessed Malaika hugging and spending time with her boyfriend in a hotel room and hence didn’t want her to marry Rishi.

Raj has found out that Malika is upto something hence tries to keep her away from Rishi much against Rano’s wishes. He knows that Rano is not the one who would silently accept defeat and hence tries to protect Tanuja from them. He request Rishi to accept her as his wife as she is innocent. But Rishi who first agreed to his ailing father’s request gives a promise to his mother that he won’t touch Tanuja at all. Poor Tanuja is in a dilemma and considers herself responsible for all the problems in Bedi house. But since Raj is not well and his doctor has requested the family to ensure his happiness and keep him away from any tragedy, Rano and Tanuja decide to let everything go as it is till he recovers completely.

Rishi and Tanuja have decided to be friends in the meanwhile and share a good equation. Their love-hate equation irks Malaika and she fears losing Rishi to Tanuja. She has noticed the two in situations that forced her to believe that Rishi and Tanuja are more than friends. She tries to emotionally blackmail Rano (who is on her side) by threatening to leave the house forever. Hence Rano theirs to humiliate Tanuja and ruin her image in front of her husband and son. Raj, well aware of his wife’s planning decides to introduce Tanuja as Rishii’s wife in front of his relatives. Hence he arranges a reception party without consulting anyone in the family. Rano thinks that this is Tanuja’s plan and decides to revenge her. She asks Malaika to behave well with the guests and impress them. Raj silently watches her earn accolades for being a perfect bahu-material. Later he takes her to a corner and says that se is under dressed for the party and is trying to flaunt he modern attitude in a family function. He says that Tanuja will take all the attention with her arrival as she will wear the saree he gifted her specially for the reception. Jealous Malaika ruins the saree in Tanuja’s absence and forces her to wear a skimpy dress. Since Tanuja has no choice, she decides to dress in the best way possible for her reception. But Rishi gets angry at her for not keeping his family’s pride and humiliates her. Raj is also disappointed and wonders what made Tanuja disobey his orders. Will Tanuja manage to win super Dadi’s heart? Will Rishi find out the truth behind Tanuja’s dress?
