Sonam Kapoor wowed us all with her brilliant performance in 'Neerja'. The Ram Madhvani-directed film narrated the true story of braveheart
Neerja Bhanot, the flight attendant who died while saving hundreds of lives during a Pan Am hijack in 1986.
At the
Mother Teresa Memorial Awards held on November 20, the braveheart was posthumously honoured for her courage and grit. Neerja's family decided that Sonam should collect the award on her behalf.
The actress shared the stage with Neerja's brothers Anish and Akhil as she accepted the award.
Sonam looked beautiful in a pastel green sari replete with striking earrings and soft make-up. She also participated in a discussion on combating terror through education.
