Tottenham welcome Harry Kane news, pursue Malaga's Sandro Ramirez

The transfer window might be shut, but don't think the wheeling and dealing won't continue! Check out all the latest deals here.

Striking developments at White Hart Lane

There is a double dose of good news for Tottenham fans: Not only has talismanic striker Harry Kane said he wants to stay, but Spain Under-21 international striker Sandro Ramirez could be on his way in from Malaga to join him.

Alarm bells rang for Spurs supporters when reports last week said negotiations over a new contract for Kane had been put on hold.

But the England man, whose late double turned a 2-1 deficit against West Ham into a 3-2 victory on Saturday, has quashed the hopes of Manchester United and Real Madrid by revealing that he wants to be a Spurs player for "a long, long time."

He might soon be joined by Ramirez, a Tottenham target in previous transfer windows, with the Sun reporting that a bid could finally come in from White Hart Lane this time around.

The 21-year-old has been in fine form this season -- and with Netherlands forward Vincent Janssen struggling for goals, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could decide now is the time to bring him to the Premier League.

Faltering Foxes want midfield boost

After last season's impossible dream comes this season's unpleasant reality: Premier League champions Leicester City are struggling.

The Mirror reports that manager Claudio Ranieri wants to do something about that in the window and intends to bring in Olympiakos midfielder Luka Milivojevic, after summer signing Nampalys Mendy's struggle with injuries.

Mendy -- intended to replace N'Golo Kante -- has not played since August, and Serbia international Milivojevic could be the answer, as Ranieri looks to pep up a side that slumped to a weekend defeat at Watford and slid closer to relegation danger.

The Italian also wants to add a bit more zest on the flanks, and the Mirror says he could do that by going back in for Norwich City's Robbie Brady, a mooted signing over the summer.

Liverpool keen on ... Liverpool player

Now here's a thing: Liverpool are interested in a promising youngster who plays for ... Liverpool.

Before we get confused, let's stress that this is Uruguayan club Liverpool, with the player in question being attacker Gustavo Viera.

According to the Sun, the 16-year-old is attracting Liverpool and Everton, with both Merseyside rivals having had him scouted.

Viera has previously been monitored by Barcelona and has also trained with Dutch club Feyenoord.

But the Sun believes a move to the Premier League could be on the cards because he has an English-based agent.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool Echo reports that Everton intend to send more promising youngsters out on loan.

They recalled Conor Grant from Ipswich after he made just seven appearances and are likely to end Brendan Galloway's deal with West Bromwich Albion.

But Goodison under-23s boss David Unsworth says he will "target a few players to go out on loan in January."

Tap-ins

- West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is probably still recovering from the closing moments of that dramatic defeat at Tottenham.

But once he has, he will turn his attentions to a January move for Dundee's teenage midfielder James Cowan, according to the Mirror.

It reports that the Hammers are keen on the 18-year-old, who is also on the radar of Championship club Derby.

- Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce remains poised to add another goalkeeper to his ranks. And the latest to be linked with a move to the Midlands is Sheffield Wednesday's Keiren Westwood.

The manager wants to add backup for No. 1 Pierluigi Gollini -- who has been linked with Juventus -- and the Birmingham Mail reports that Westwood is firmly in the frame.

And Bruce knows him well, having signed him during his days at Sunderland back in 2011.
