1. Pingxi Lantern Festival of Taiwan

There are many activities all over Taiwan during Taiwan Lantern
Festival. During the Taiwan Lantern Festival, thousands of sky
lanterns light over Pingxi District in Taiwan. In Yanshui District, the
firecrackers ceremony of Wumiao Temple is also one of the
important activities.
2. PFLASTERSPEKATAKEL

The Pflasterspektakel is an annual street art festival in Linz, the
capital of Austria. It includes musical acts, juggling, acrobatics,
pantomime, improvisational theatre, clownery, fire dancing,
painting, samba parades, as well as a programme for
children, and is held on three days in July in and around the main
square and the Landstraße. In 2010, about 400 artists from over
forty nations participated in the event.
3. SYDNEY NEW YEAR’S EVE

Sydney New Year’s Eve is a famous New Year party held in Sydney.
In this party there are two ways of fireworks, the “Family Fireworks”
and the “Midnight Fireworks”

The event was first televised on NYE in 1996-97. The Family
Fireworks is for about twenty minutes and the Midnight Fireworks
lased about three minutes and only featured Sydney Tower.
4. THE CARNIVAL OF VENICE

The Carnival of Venice is an annual festival held in Venice, Italy.
The Carnival ends with the Christian celebration of Lent, forty
days before Easter, on Shrove Tuesday.
5. SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

Saint Patrick's day is a cultural and a religious celebration in Ireland held on
17 march. On Saint Patrick's day it is customary to wear shamrocks and/or
green clothing or accessories. Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a
three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish. The colour
green has been associated with Ireland since at least the 1640s, when the
green harp flag was used by the Irish Catholic Confederation. Green ribbons
and shamrocks have been worn on St Patrick's Day since at least the 1680s.

The battle of the oranges is a great festival that is celebrated in
Ivrea, throwing oranges every year. Thousands of oranges are
spent in this festival. It is very fun, one could say that it is the
biggest fight of food of Italy.
7. Holi Festival India

Holi is an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular in India,
Nepal and some parts of Europe as a Spring celebrations of colors. The
purposes of festival it celebrates the beginning of the new season Spring.
Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying Spring’s abundant colors and saying
goodbye to winter.
The night before Holi, bonfires will be lit. People will dance and sing around
the fire. For the day of Holi, people will play, chase and color each other with
dry powder and colored water.
In the evening they will dress up nicely then visit their friends and family.
8. Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival

Every year on January 5, held in Harbin, China festival of ice and
snow in the world. This festival began in 1963. In addition to ice
sculptures can also be other activities: Yabuli skiing, swimming in
the Songhua River and ice-lantern exhibition in Zhaolin Garden.

The victory of the Soviet Union and the Allies over Nazi Germany
in World War II was reached on May 9, 1945. Since then this day
is called the Day of Victory and is a festive day in Russia and in
most the former Soviet republics.
10. RUNNING OF THE BULLS

The running of the Bulls is a festival in San Fermin
(Pamplona). It´s celebrated every year from the 6th to the
14th of July. The running of the bulls, where the bulls trough
the streets, up a the bull ring.
The people in this race can be wound. It´s very dangerous!

Songkan water festival . This festival is celebrate for New York. In
this festival there are a lot of water and the people always gets
wet .There are very people and all wear coloring clothes. In this
festival there are lot of elephants goes to the streets and people
are happy. Children sing popular songs. Children plays with water
and this represent good luck.
