Freida Pinto is a vision in white. Present at the ongoing Global Citizen Festival, the lady lent her full support to the movement.

Freida is a passionate advocate for gender equality and since 2012 has supported the Global Citizen movement to raise awareness and drive change on this issue.

She has made impassioned speeches about women's rights and how men and boys are integral parts of the fight, gender bias in Hollywood and Bollywood, girls' education and most recently on how sanitation is an issue that keeps women and girls from realizing their true potential.

In just two months since the launch of the Global Citizen India movement, more than 5 lakh young Global Citizens in India took more than 20 lakh actions calling on political, faith and business leaders, along with celebrities, to be more accountable in their efforts to improve education, gender equality and water, sanitation and hygiene in India.
