Israeli air force fighter planes carried out training exercises on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica this month, the French air force has revealed.

Five F16 E Israeli jets practiced air-to-air combat between 2-10 November, air force officials revealed on Thursday.
They also trained with French Rafale jet fighters.
"This was not a joint exercise but a sharing of experience," air force spokesman Olivier Celo told the AFP news agency.
Planes from Nato allies, such as the US, the UK and Belgium, regularly visit the Solenzara air base in the south of the island for air-to-air or ground-to-air exercises but Israeli pilots are rarer guests.
