Brentford have agreed a compensation fee with FC Nordsjaelland to allow coach Flemming Pedersen to take up his new role at the Danish club with immediate effect.

The Bees announced last month that B team head coach Pedersen would be returning to Denmark to become Nordsjaelland's technical director and he has now left the Sky Bet Championship club early. Kevin O'Connor has replaced him at Griffin Park.

"We are gutted to see him leave, but we wish him all the best in FC Nordsjaelland," Brentford co-director of football Rasmus Ankersen told the club's official website.

"Now compensation has been agreed all parties can now move on and Kevin can take on the role of continuing to improve the players we have within the B team group."
