Brand encourages consumers to like their “flaws” and donates money to A21 trafficking charity

Omerge Alliances has launched an online campaign working to promote self-worth and positive body image, while donating funds to an anti-trafficking charity.

Consumers are encouraged to share positive pictures of their perceived flaws using the #fallintobeauty hashtag.

For every picture posted, Omerge Alliances will donate $1 to the A21 human trafficking organisation to help rescue sex slaves and restore their lives.

Fall Into Beauty is designed to reiterate positive self-worth and remind every girl of her inherent beauty.

Those participating will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten products from Philosophy’s Amazing Grace collection.

Human trafficking is thought to be the world’s biggest crime, making criminals $99bn of revenue each year. Approximately 5 million people are thought to currently be trapped as sex slaves with the average victim being a 12 year old girl.

The #fallintobeauty campaign aims to raise awareness of the trafficking issue while emphasising the inherent value of young girls and encouraging participants to embrace their unique beauty.

Olivia Scott, CEO at Omerge Alliances, said that she has been looking for a way to help support the cause of trafficking victims since earlier this year.

She said: “I’ve searched for a way to support this cause. Fall Into Beauty is designed to reiterate positive self-worth and remind every girl of her inherent beauty.”

Omerge Alliances is a marketing consultancy working with media and lifestyle brands on campaigns, event programming and production, consumer engagement and brand partnerships.
