5 Bollywood Actresses We Miss Watching On The Silver Screen

Late 90's and early 2000's was our favourite time, when it came to Bollywood. We were lucky to have a line-up of some of the best Indian cinema had to offer in terms of actresses, during that period. Not that the new breed of actresses are not talented or gorgeous. But we truly wish we could have the following pretty ladies back on the big screen.

Rani Mukerji

Remember her from Black? We cannot think of any other actress essaying that role like Rani did. She was last seen in the film, Mardaani, which released in the year 2014. We so wish to see her again on the silver screen.

Chitrangada Singh

Chitrangada had a strong on-screen persona, and watching her on the big screen would transport us into a magical world. Apart from being loved by the audience, she was won critical acclaim for her performances. Although she didn't get great movies or scripts, and that's where the downfall of her career began, we wish she gets some good movies in the future, and we get to see her making a big comeback.

Preity Zinta

Who wouldn't want to see this stunning actress? After being with a top star with hits like Kal Ho Na Ho and Koi Mil Gaya, Preity gave all her attention to her IPL team. In course of this, she lost her place in the movie industry. Preity made an attempt to make a comeback, with the film Ishkq in Paris, which was also produced by her but the movie flopped. Hope to see her back in Bollywood soon.

Raveena Tandon

We bet you still find Raveena Tandon hot and stunning. Raveena ruled the hearts of millions with her killer looks, and versatile acting chops, and unconventional film choices. Watching her in movies like Satta, Shool and Aks changed the way the audience perceived women in Indian cinema. We sure hope Raveena makes a comeback in movies playing a strong female character, soon.

Madhuri Dixit

Even today, she can kill millions with her smile. Apart from being drop-dead gorgeous, Madhuri is an excellent actress. After taking a break from movies post marriage, she tried to make a comeback with the film, Aaja Nachle, but things didn't work out well. But we still hope to see Madhuri in movies, this time backed by a script that can do justice to her calibre.
