Nurpur, November 15
One person was killed and two others sustained injuries when a tractor-trolley fell into a gorge near Kotla on the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway last evening. Ravinder Kumar (22) of Sirmani village died on the spot while tractor driver Imraan Rashid was critically injured. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital, Shahpur, from where he was referred to the Tanda medical college, Kangra.
Ravinder of the same village riding on the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Jawali police said a case under Sections 279,337 and 304 (A) of the IPC had been registered and the body of the deceased has been handed over to his family after the postmortem examination.
