Record fine over duped Brisbane cleaners

A Brisbane businessman has been fined a record $126,500 for exploiting migrant workers who worked as cleaners.
The Fair Work Ombudsman took legal action against Bijal Girish Sheth for underpaying workers at his Brisclean company over a two-year period.
The Federal Circuit Court has slapped Mr Sheth with the largest fine the ombudsman has ever secured against an individual, and he must also back-pay four migrant workers almost $60,000.
