Nick Jonas meets new niece Valentina: 'I'm in love'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Nick Jonas is smitten with the newest member of his extended family.

The 24-year-old singer shared a photo Monday with 2-week-old niece Valentina Angelina after brother Kevin Jonas welcomed the infant with Danielle Jonas in October.

"I'm in love," he captioned the picture on Snapchat, adding "Valentina Angelina Jonas" on Instagram.

Jonas was filming Jumanji with Dwayne Johnson in Hawaii when Valentina was born Oct. 27. He previously offered his congratulations to Kevin and Danielle on Instagram.

"I'm on set here in Hawaii but I just got the best news ever. My brother and his wife just had their baby. I'm overjoyed," the star said in a video.

"Congrats Kevin and Dani! We have another Jonas!! Can't wait to meet that beautiful baby girl very soon @kevinjonas @daniellejonas," he captioned the post.

Kevin and Danielle married in 2009 after more than two years of dating, and welcomed their first child, daughter Alena, in February 2014. The couple announced they were expecting again in April.

"We are so excited to welcome our new baby girl, Valentina Angelina Jonas," the pair said in a statement after Valentina's birth. "She is healthy and beautiful and we couldn't be happier!"

"Alena already can't wait for Valentina to come home and start being a big sister," they added.

Jonas last released the album Last Year Was Complicated in June. He plays Nate Kulina on the Audience Network series Kingdom, and will star in Jumanji, which opens in theaters Dec. 22, 2017.
