SHRC takes suo motu case on infant deaths
Palakkad: The Kerala state human rights commission has taken a suo motu case on the frequent deaths of tribal infants at Attappadi.
Commission member K. Mohankumar on Tuesday sent notices to the government secretary of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes welfare, director of health services and the Palakkad district medical officer to inquire into these incidents and submit a report to the commission within two weeks.
