Sarita Chauhan, Chairperson J&K Services Selection Board (SSB), called on Governor N.N. Vohra here today.Ms. Chauhan briefed the Governor about functioning of the J&K SSB and steps being taken to streamline the recruitment processes.The Governor advised Ms. Chauhan to ensure that the Board establishes, without loss of time, procedures and processes which enable timely, transparent and credible selections for filling up all vacancies in the administrative apparatus. He stressed that only merit based selections would promote people’s faith and trust in governmental functioning.
