Homebuyers take pending issues to authority CEO
Noida: A delegation of homebuyers from newly developed residential societies, led by local MLA Vimla Batham, met Noida Authority CEO P K Agarwal over a host of issues on Monday.
The issues discussed with the CEO inlude pending registery, maintenance charges being deducted from a pre-paid meter, non-functional lifts, exorbitant electricity bills, incomplete sewer connection, lack of fire and emergency equipment and floor area ratio (FAR) not as promised to the pending occupancy certificate, among others.

Over 40 residents from societies such as RG Residency, Sector 120; Amrapali Silicon City, Amrapali Princely and J M Orchid, Sector 76; Lotus Boulevard, Sector 100; Lotus Panache, Sector 110; Prateek Wisteria, Sector 77; Amrapali Platinum and Eldeco Amantran, Sector 119; Assotech Windsor Court, Sector 50 and Sun Shine Helios, Sector 78 among others were a part of the delegation.
“Lifts are not working at RG residency, neither is the work complete. Even proper firefighting measures are not in place. So we had a discussion on these matters with MLA Batham and CEO Agarwal,” said Rishi Pandey, a resident of the sector.
CEO Agarwal assured homebuyers that he would hold a meeting with each of the builders at the authority office in the coming days.
According to Agarwal, if completion certificate has been issued to the builder and “still some work is pending, then action can be taken,” said Agarwal.
While directing concerned project engineers to look into matters related to U-turns and signage, Agarwal assured homebuyers that specific issues of water softening plant, need for firefighting equipment and non-functioning lifts will be looked into. “We will act on these specific complaints,” said Agarwal.
