All general managers & officers were instructed last night about demonetization to ensure no public inconvenience was caused. We need not panic. Read RBI's exhaustive list of FAQs on demonetizing of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, you won't regret it. By doing away with the Rs 1000 & 500 notes our PM has dealt a big blow to the flow of counterfeit currency and black money in Indian economy. This Rs 500 and 1000 ban is a great move and effectively renders corrupt politicians vaguely impotent. Using your PAN card and Aadhar card, you can get Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes replaced and deposited in banks in the next 50 days.

Its a great step by Modiji. People will initially face problems but we should understand this big decision must have been taken with full study because of several reasons and for the future welfare of the country. Honest people are happy with the decision.

Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness! Denominations of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 being banned is the best thing India has done against black money. It might be tough for the next couple of weeks in terms of money management, but the economy will gain a lot. Like our superstar Rajnikanth Sir tweeted, "Hats off Modiji. New India is born. Jai Hind."

It is a very bold and revolutionary step by the Modi government and is a big reform which no one even expected. I believe that it will have a huge impact on people and the Indian economy. There cannot be a better move and India shall see its result. The rupee will become stronger. There may be some inconveniences to the general consumers in the short run however, this inconvenience will be worth for long term. GREAT MOVE NAMO JI!

I believe it's a great step to stop corruption against black money however, in order to do this, the public shouldn't suffer. The government should have the replacement for notes ready on time and the limit of cash transactions from ATM machines should be higher. The step could have been taken only after launching the new notes but this sudden decision is forcing me to think that the decision has been taken to "probably" affect UP elections which is about to happen.

I think the ban was a well thought out decision, it might cause a little inconvenience but it's definitely going to help reduce corruption and for that reason, I am extremely pleased with this decision.
