LINGAYEN– The 27th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration in Pangasinan ended on a high note as the provincial government led by Gov. Amado Espino, III feted Local Government Units (LGUs) for their notable performance in maximizing statistics in local governance.

Espino said the provincial government maintained a solid performance not only in the annual NSM month celebration, but also took advantage of the influence of statistics in the implementation of various development thrusts of the provincial government.

Bouyed by the province’s 2nd regional hall of fame award as Best NSM Province Implementer, Espino urged Pangasinenses not to rest on its laurels and carry on elevating the performance of the province in various fields.

Meanwhile, 4th district Board Member Jeremy Agerico Rosario, 2016 provincial NSM steering committee chairperson, said the Philippine Statistics Authority has recognized Pangasinan as the most statistically-developed province in the region for six times, being the regional champion in the search for best NSM province implementer from 2008-2010 and 2014-2016.
