Documentation of Maharashtra Police’s dealing in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which will include interviews with policemen, will form an episode on the upcoming Marathi television series, Shaurya Gatha Abhimanachi (Story of Pride).
The show, to be aired on Zee Yuva, will open with the episode on 26/11 attacks. The series is directed by Sachin Mohite of Savdhaan India fame. It is based on the lives of Maharashtra policemen.
The show aims to bring a peek into the stories of these officers. It will recount the happenings in the life of a Mumbai policeman through re-enactments, interviews, eyewitness’ testimony to reconstruct the sequence of events for the audiences.

Throughout the episodes the responses and reactions of the witnesses along with the victims or relatives and friends of victims are interviewed adding to the available information about the case.
The episodes would pay homage to officers like Isaq Bagwan, first lady detection officer Hire math and Rakesh Mariya, and Madhukar Zende, the man known for capturing the elusive Charles Sobhraj.
“Maharashtra police have been upholding and protecting law impeccably despite various critical conditions like continuous media pressure and extreme expectations of public. The show is dedicated to the brave Maharashtra police and aim to build respect and credibility amongst our viewers,” Zee Talkies business head Bavesh Janavlekar said in a statement.
