It's strange to write about Children's Day, being an adult, but then it has been one of my favourite days during my school time. This was the only day in school, where we had to attend classes but there was no teaching done. That's the only day I learn that school can be timepass, because you finally get to have a lot of fun with your friends that too right under the noses of our teachers. Ah, childhood can't return for me again, but I do hope that the kids these enjoy this special day as much as I did, or better. So on this special day, let's look at those Bollywood stars who have started off as child actors before having successful careers as adults (or in some cases, nearly successful careers). As you know Bollywood is a sucker for nepotism, so most of the stars we have are star kids. therefore there are chances that we might have seen them in an old movie as a child actor. These star kids might have accompanied their star/producer/director father to the sets of the film, their parent is involved, and someone might have to grand idea to make the kid act in the film, to lend that adorability factor. Little did these kids know that this would be stepping stones, and would later provide us with so many trivia moments. Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan has a couple of early appearances as a child actor thanks to his producer-father Tahir Hussain. He appeared first in Madhosh, before that memorable role as a younger Tariq in Yaadon Ki Baaraat.

Hrithik Roshan

It does help if your father is a popular actor, producer and director, as you get to learn about being involved in the process of film-making so early. Hrithik Roshan did just, as he appeared as a child actor in his home production, Bhagwan Dada, where he appeared as Rajinikanth's son. We have to say, what a start!

Alia Bhatt

Though she only appears for a couple of minutes, it's not hard to miss a really cherubic Alia Bhatt playing a younger Preity Zinta in Tanuja Chandra's Sangharsh.

Sanjay Dutt

The controversial star, who is raring for a comeback, was seen as a kid qawwali singer in his father Sunil Dutt's Reshma Aur Shera.

Ajay Devgn

Yes, even the Shivaay star started off as a child actor in Pyari Behna, where he played Jr. Mithun Chakraborthy. He was credited as Master Chottu in the film.

Neil Nitin Mukesh

We are not sure whether the man with three names will ever enter Game of Thrones, but we do know that he was really adorable playing Jr Govinda in this '80s masala film, Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni.
