An Armyman was thrown off the Chennai-bound GT Express near Multai Railway station in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday allegedly after being robbed of the Rs 100 notes that he was carrying.

BHOPAL: An Armyman was thrown off the Chennai-bound GT Express near Multai Railway station in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday allegedly after being robbed of the Rs 100 notes that he was carrying.
The victim, Nakul Mallikarjun of Hissar (Haryana), is posted in Goa. Police said that he sustained serious head injuries. He has told doctors that he was pushed off the moving train after being robbed of Rs 100 notes.
Hospital authorities however said that the jawan may have fallen off by accident.
In Raisen, a man committed suicide after failing to get his currency exchanged in bank on Sunday evening. And in Gwalior, it turns out that an elderly woman died on Friday after a private hospital allegedly refused treatment because she could not pay in valid currency.
