Rajkot: RSS veteran Pravinbhai Maniyar who has been associated with VVP college is no more. He passed away today. His funeral procession will take place at 10.00 am tomorrow. He will be cremated at Muktidham in Ramnathpara.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in his condolence message said: Shocked at the news of death of Shri Pravinbhai Maniyar, Senior RSS functionary from Rajkot. He has left deep imprints on my life. My condolences.

Pravinbhai had handled Sampark Pramukh responsibility in Western areas of RSS for ten years.

Presence Chief Minister Vijay Rupani rose in politics in shadow of Pravinbhai and Arvindbhai Maniyar.

Pravinbhai was lawyer by prefession. When Keshubhai Patel formed Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) against then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Pravinbhai too joined him and openly criticized Modi.
