Uppi changes his schedule to respect a son’s affection

The actor will work on Kanneshwara in November for a week. Jagannath’s son and producer wanted to honour his father’s birthday

Upendra and Naganna have come together for  Kanneshwara , a film produced by B Jagannath’s son Rajji Jagannath who had previously produced Uppi's

film A.  
The film was initially set to bankroll in January, but the plan had to be rescheduled and advanced, and the film’s muhurath will now take place on November 10 . The shooting will be done for a week, then the team will break for a few months and restart work in January.

This is being done on producer Rajji's request, who wanted to start on the film on his father Jagannath’s birthday that falls this month. The actor and producer’s relationship goes back a long way with the later producing Uppi’s blockbuster film A. So Upendra decided to squeeze in a few days between his busy schedule, not wanting to disappoint a son. The filmmaking will take a break and restart from January,  after he completes his prior commitments. Ajay and Guruprasad will also be investing in the film. The director, who has roped in Vedhika in the female lead and Komal, plans to bring in Ravichandran for an important role in Kanneshwara.
The actor is currently busy with N Lokanath directorial

Upendra Matte Hutti Ba - inti Ninna Prema and will follow it up with Uday Prakash’s Dr Modi.
Meanwhile, Uppi who is enjoying the success of Mukunda Murari has a line up of interesting projects in his kitty and that includes a film by Masterpiece director Manju Mandayva followed by a project with
Shashank. Upendra is also set to do a Telugu film, but the details are yet to be revealed with an official
announcement.
