Raisa, Cotton Ink launch second collaboration

ollowing the success of their first collaboration last year, pop singer Raisa Andriana and local fashion brand Cotton Ink launched the second collection of COTTONINK x Raisa on Thursday at the brands' store at Plaza Senayan shopping mall, Central Jakarta.
Available in 33 designed-pieces at prices ranging from Rp 249,000 (US$18.60) to Rp 379,000, the collection features Raisa’s signature style, which is a combination of femininity and simplicity.

During the event, Raisa shared her excitement about the new collection. “I have a similar style with Cotton Ink’s [concept], which is casual with a twist. I love pieces that can be used every day, easy to mix and match and comfortable. Among all the collection, we provide asymmetrical pieces, tops with scuba material and pleats [that reflects the brand’s concept],” she said.
Cotton Ink co-founder Ria Sarwono told a press conference that Raisa was chosen because her style is in line with the brand. “Raisa is the ultimate 'it' girl. She’s comfortable with her everyday style and we want to show our customers that a 'less is more [style]' is acceptable,” said Ria.
Cotton Ink was launched in 2008 as an online store. After eight years, the brand opened two stores, at Plaza Senayan and in Kemang, South Jakarta. (kes)
