ISLAMABAD: Civil Court of Islamabad Tuesday granted two-day physical remand of former NADRA employee allegedly involved in corruption during his posting in Kuwait. Senior Civil Judge Humayun Dilawar heard the case registered by FIA. Inspector FIA Raja Wajid informed the court that the accused Adnan Akram had allegedly embezzled Rs 8.2 million in line of issuance of CNICs during 2010 to 2012 in Kuwait. The accused had confessed the crime and had offered to return the money through installments, he added. The official informed the court that the accused had been working from 2003 to 2016 in NADRA.
